GNAT provides employee of the month award scheme.Employee of the month is an award given to workers for above and beyond performance. The purpose of these awards is to recognize outstanding employees at the office, and motivate workers to excel. The employee of the month is declared by HR Dept.and employee photo along with his profile is displayed in all panels for one month
Head-count Reporting
A headcount report, created via a human resource information system (HRIS), lets you sort and categorize employees based on different variables — e.g., active or inactive, full-time or part-time, exempt versus nonexempt, age, race, salary and so on. These reports play an integral role in compliance
IntraNet Forum
IntraNet Forum works as Employee suggetion Box in a company. A suggestion box encourages employees to submit suggestions, comments and complaints anonymously, although they can include their names if they want. Suggestion boxes can be physical objects, often seen in businesses where customers are encouraged to write feedback on a service or offering. For businesses that want to improve employee engagement, a suggestion box can be invaluable, especially if employees can retain anonymity. Employees can give their input regarding working conditions, processes, HR and benefits, colleagues or managers. They can also make suggestions to improve their organization’s profitability.
Programmable Tool
To save data-entry time GNAT provides a programmable control panel in which you put set of commands so you can update employee data by rnning those sets of commands. This saves lot of time of data-entry operater.
You can write your script to modify certain employee data by reusing already prepared set of commands.
Management Hierarchy
While system is operative in the company, Managment Hierarchy is developed parallely by the software. Total Hierarchy includes Company Management, Branches, Department under branches, Employees working under every department etc.
Virtual Notice Board
Virtual Notice board was a concept introduced at time of Corona Lockdown. HR department displays various Notices on this Virtual Notice Board and those are visible through Employee Self Services and Mobile App. This facility is useful for remote working Employees. Employees can give their feedbacks to those Notices displayed on Notice Board, which are answerable by HR department.
Graphical Presentation
The key to a great presentation in HR is to create outstanding visuals that illustrate the topics at hand. GNAT provides Graphical presentation from all different perspective like Employeewise, monthwise, annual, departmentwise, branchwise etc.
Asset Management
Company Asset Management is very sensitive subject if taken seriously. Companies have various types of Assets like Operative Machines, Purchased instruments/Laptops/Vehicles, Lifts, Hoists, Roads, Toilets which comes under maintaince items category. It is very important to track their Guarantee/Warantee periods. If this data is not maintained properly companies have to pay heavy casualties. GNAT provides special Tools for tracking all this Asset Management functionality.
Canteen Management
Canteen Management system prepares Mobile App based Canteen Coupons so system can track No. of employees available for lunch/dinner. So canteen contracter can make judgement of No.of employees available for lunch/dinner. This save wastage of food. Facility to add guests enjoying lunch. So canteen lunch data is avaliable on day to day basis and easy for billing purpose.
Courier Management
Keeping track of outgoing/incoming material through courier is very important task in a company. Track the Date when material was dispatched by courier when it was delivered to client, which material is received by courier all this data must be maintained systematically or else there is repeatation of stock due to mismanagement. Which ultimately comes to increase in wastage of material due to excess material.
Visitor Management
GNAT includes Visitor Management as well as Gate Management System. Visitor entry is registered by company employee which is available to Security person at Gate Security Control Panel. Visitor in-time/Date is acknowledged by security person. Also visitors out-entry is registered when visitor gets out of the company. Gate secutiry Panel also provides tool to register vehicles coming in and out of the company. So material going in and out is recorded at Gate Level Security.
Leave Management
Leave Management keeps track of Leave Allocated ,Leave Enjoyed and Leave Balance. Leave applied by Employee through Employee Self Service goes to HOD for approval and then ultimately goes to HR department for approval.
Employee can apply for leave from Employee Self Service as well as from Mobile App.
Short Leave Management
Short Leave is off taken by an employee for a very short time that is less than a half day. Generally it happens when he/she has to go somewhere on an urgent basis. It can mean 2 hours coming late to the office, taking a 2 hour gap in between or leaving 2 hours early. There is no provision contained in the labor laws concerning Short leave, it entirely depends upon the discretion of the management or company policy.
GNAT provides module to apply for short leave, that goes to HOD for approval and ultimately goes to HR Dept.for final approval.
KRA/KPI
KRA stands for Key Responsibility Areas. These are defined as the specific areas in a job profile an employee is expected to work on. It is a fixed outline for each job position that acts as a scope for the employee. It is a description of the job profile designed by the organization. Every position has several tasks associated with it that are accomplished by the employee hired for the same post.
GNAT authonticates HOD to define KRA of every employee working in this department. KRA is a significant factor in performance management and is considered during the performance management process of the company to evaluate employees’ achievements.
Attendance Machine Connectivity
GNAT HRMS realtime catches attendance data from ESSL attendance machine. But before that company must have all attendance related bylaws have to be defined in the GNAT HRMS. e.g. How much is late margin, after what time Half Day is to be calculated, How early go/late coming penaulty is to be calculated. After defining all these rules and regulations GNAT HRMS catches attendance data on day to day basis. And this attendance data is available to all employee to view from their Employee Self Service and Mobile App. For greater accuracy HR department should resolve missing punch issues and On-duty gatepass approvals.
OutDoor Gate Pass
There are two type of OutDoor Gate Passes in the system. First Material Gate Pass and second is Employee Onduty Gate Pass. Preparation of OnDuty gatepass is very important because it intimates to attendance system that even though Employee is not present in the company physically, he should be marked as present for salary calculations.
Employee Inventory
In many of the companies some inventory like Dress, shoes, laptops are issued to company employees. Those inventories are tracked in Employee Inventory Module of GNAT HRMS. So in case of salary calculations those valuations are deducted under dress/Other Deductions heading. System also keeps the track of any such stock available in the company.
Recruitment
GNAT Recruitment Procedure starts with raising Manpower Requisition by HOD. Then it goes to HR Dept. for CTC calculation and then goes to Management for approval. When Requisition is approved by Management it is converted to Vacancy which companies are displayed real-time on company website. When candidate clicks on vacancy it displays Resume Form for application. These applications are called in GNAT Resume Databank. HOD and HR prepares Interview scheduling for selected candidates. After shortlisting Employee Induction Procedure Starts for Employee Joining.
Resume Collection
GNAT system has various types of Resume Collection Tools. By sending SMS link to candidate mobile, displaying Vacancy List on Company website these are very popular and fast working Resume Collection Methods.
Interview Scheduling
Resume Databank helps to shortlist the candidates for interview. Shortlisted candidates are informed interview Date and Time with SMS. Interview is conducted by both HOD and HR departments. GNAT provides facility to prepare interview question bank to be asked at the time of interview. GNAT also provides feedback form for interviewer which will be helpful while shortlising the candidate.
Employee Joining
After Candidate shortlising, HR department prepares his Offer letter. After salary negotiations offer letter is finalised and Employee Joining procedure starts with Employee Joining module in the system. Employee profile is prepared in Employee Joining module. Then it goes for approval through Joining Approval Module.

Employee Kiosk
In many of the companies computer access and mobiles are not allowed to ground class workers. But in that case Employee Self Service is made available to them through HR Kiosks. A common computer is placed at reception on which HR kiosk access is made available through which ground level employees can use self-service facility in the software.

Work Scheduler
Work Scheduler works in two ways - 1. HOD assigns datewise tasks to Department employees and those tasks are displayed to concern employees on specified date as "To Do Tasks" 2- Schedulers can be used as Reminder, Employees can set their own work reminder datewise.
